Cambodia Team Update - Wednesday 01/26

Hello from Cambodia! Today was a bittersweet day: sweet because we had a wonderful day teaching over 350 children and spending another afternoon with the Poipet Center kids, but bitter because we had to leave this evening.

As a team, we agree without a doubt that we would love to spend even more time in this community and with these children that live at the center. Our relationships have started to blossom and many of us are already looking forward to the next time we can come back and continue developing our friendships.

This morning we were so blessed to have even more children from the community come to play games, put crafts together, but most importantly hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we closed our lessons this morning, it was such a blessing to hear the children recite not 1 but 3 verses from the Word of God that we pray they will hide in their hearts throughout their lives. I am reminded of Isaiah 55:11 which says "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Would you please join us in prayer for this entire community? This week has been a powerful time of planting and watering many seeds. Now we commit it to the Holy Spirit and ask that He will bring growth.

I don't have any new pictures to post online tonight (just got into the hotel halfway to Phnom Penh), but be sure to check back soon. I will post lots of pictures asap.

Praying together for the Nation of Cambodia,
Bruce, Pat, Dee Dee, Robert, Jay, Michael, Alyssa, Austin, Linda, and Kolbi
