New Local Ministry Opportunity
I hope you're having a wonderful day. I certainly have loved this warmer spring weather in Prescott. Aren't we so blessed to live in such an amazing place?!?!
I wanted to take a moment to catch up with you about an exciting new volunteers ministry in Yavapai County that I have had the privilege to be a part of. Let me give you an idea of the background of this outreach.
In Yavapai County, we have hundreds of non-profit organizations. At this time, many are not communicating, duplicating services, and there is still no one place to call to find out what resources are available in the community. In addition, there is no structure or way to follow up with people who need these resources. To meet this need, Yavapai HelpLine has been established, funded by the community and churches for a three-year pilot project, and is currently recruiting and looking for volunteers to answer the phones for those in need.
So far, we are about 25 people shy of our volunteer goal, so I thought I would send this to you to see if you or if someone you know would be available. I've attached some helpful information and hope you think and pray on it.
Please let me know if you have any questions or thoughts. Blessings to you today!
