Food Drive, Coffee Kiosk, and Upcoming Opportunities to Serve

Happy Wednesday!

Wow! I think thats all I can say after last weekend! HeightsFest was a blast, a huge success, and a wonderful time to see people come together as families in Christ. Here are a few highlights of the weekend:

-FOOD DRIVE - Together, we collected over 8,400 pounds of food! Praise God for His provision and the ability to provide food for the hungry in our community.

-GRAND OPENING of Heights Hands and Feet Coffee Cafe & Store - Who knew so many people would absolutely love their specialty drinks so much?!?!? Our amazing coffee and store volunteers served about 400 drinks over the weekend! Everything served at Hands and Feet Cafe and Store will go towards supporting upcoming outreach teams and our ministry partners around the world!

-BURGER BASH - Thanks to everyone who bought a burger! We served over 700 burgers and 300 hot dogs! Woo hoo!

- Camp Opportunity - You may have seen Cyndie Forrest around campus this past weekend with campers and mentors from Camp Opportunity. Please pray for the current group of mentors from Heights Church who are serving young children in the foster care system and sharing with them the love of Jesus Christ.

I've recently been made aware of many people in need of rides to church from nursing homes to recovery homes around the tri-city area. If you and your family feel this is an area you might be able to serve in, please contact me at What a wonderful way to use the blessing of transportation to bring Jesus to our community.

If you have the ability and desire to serve in a practical way, sign up to help move families! Summer time is a busy time with many families needing help as they move. Contact Kolbi if you want to help out sometime!

Mingus Mountain Academy
Also, don't forget to sign up for Mingus Mountain Academy this Saturday, June 11, and next Saturday, June 18 for worship in the morning!

Heights Church, I consider myself overwhelmingly blessed to serve alongside of you.
