Cambodia Team: Day 1 Blog Post
We made it to LA! Now a long wait for our early am flight.
We definitely have been challenged over the last few days. James 1:2-4 comes to mind in what the team has been through to start this trip. God’s generosity was evident in early preparation as supplies and donations pored in from everyone. Then the challenge of packing, transporting and funding the goods to Cambodia became an obstacle. God’s hand became evident again with the ability to change flights and get some of the transportation issues taken care of. Then last minute there was yet another flight change.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish it work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4.
We all definitely feel tested in our faith yet we are persevering. God must have great things for this group to have the enemy come against us so hard in the last few days. The months of planning have finally began to unfold. Spirits are all high and the excitement of the trip is building in the whole team.
Please continue to pray for travel mercies and that no more obstacles are placed in our way.
