Czech Republic English Camp UPDATE!

Chao!!! From the Czech Republic!! Has it already been over a week here?!
We are halfway through Camp and wow have we seen amazing things happening!
Quick update on the team.. Everyone is doing awesome! Besides being really tired from the long days of non stop activity, God has thankfully kept all of us healthy!

At 7:30 every morning, we have a time of devotion, prayer and worship. This has been so vital to the success of camp so far. Our team has felt how important it is to start our days with this time together. The time is for the staff and Czech student leaders.  It has been so special to see students randomly attend our morning worship time as God has used this time to make His name known.

We have breakfast at 8:30 with the students. (The food has been amazing)

From 9:15-12pm we have English class.
Each class has about 5-8 students, varying from beginners to advanced classes.
Our teachers, Remi, Nikki, and Katie have done an incredible job of preparing each class everyday!

From 1pm-5pm it is non stop activities.
Water games, soccer, frisbee, slip n slide, volleyball, capture the flag, and hang time with sudents.
Yesterday we went on a 10 mile hike up Lasa Hora mountain.  It was one of the highlights of the trip so far. The Czech people LOVE the outdoors, especially hiking. It was so special.

Evening session have been a blast! Games, singing, dancing!
The students have been enjoying this time together!

At the end of our evening sessions, Landen Llamas has been sharing with the students about the life of Paul. We have been walking through his story every night. Austin Turner spoke one of the nights about friendships, and how Paul had friends like Timothy, Silas, and Barnabas and the positive influence they have had on his life.

Discussion groups are the last part of the day. These groups are meant to continue the conversation of the story of Paul, and getting them talking about important subjects like friends, sin, and choices they are making.

PLEASE pray for tonight. The Gospel will be presented, and they will be a time to respond afterwards. We are praying for the students to meet Jesus for the first time!
Tomorrow is out last full day of camp.

We are so thankful for you Church family!
God is doing AWESOME things in the Czech Republic!
