DR Team!

The Dominican Republic team made it safe and sound to Santo Domingo and is doing great! Here is a quick update from Katie, the team's amazing leader:

"The team is doing great and we love having Cheryl here with us (from Vision Trust); she is awesome! The team is really bonding and having a good time :) Today (Sunday) we were able to go to deaf church and see all of our friends and here an awesome message given by Paulina and Darimil . After that we spent time with the teachers and figured out the plans for the week. We had the entire afternoon to prep everyone's crafts and material for the week... Super helpful. Now in the evenings we can focus more on the discipleship aspect and working on our signing for songs, discussion questions, the sermon and team building. Nic and Michael built their volcanos for the projects in science and it was definitely vertical entertaining. We have everything worked out for tomorrow's classes and ready to go."

Thank you so much for praying for the team as they today (Monday) they get their classes started! We are so excited to hear how God uses them to encourage, strengthen, and support the ministry of Santo Domingo Christian School for the Deaf.

The Team: Nic, Jessica, Michael, Katie, Ryan and Kalani
